Karin Marriott

As a life-long resident of this beautiful region, I have witnessed the tremendous growth in our communities. I joined the PassEDA in 2017 because I believe we have an opportunity and a duty to ensure this region maintains an enviable quality of life and a stable economy for future generations.

 

As the director of Public Information & Marketing at Mt. San Jacinto College since 2007, I am pleased to bring my skills in marketing, communications, and web design to the PassEDA.

 

My experience includes working as a journalist and assistant metro editor with The Press-Enterprise. I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Redlands and a master’s degree from Brandman University, now called UMass Global, and have taught at both universities.

 

My past and present community and industry memberships include the California Chicano News Media Associations High School Journalism Workshop; the Community College Public Relations; the Pass Economic Development Alliance, the San Gorgonio Pass Rotary; and the Professional Women’s Roundtable.
